What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients within their community settings to determine functional abilities and needs.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions, support, and education to patients and their families, adapting strategies to each unique situation.
  • Keep accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes to ensure the best care pathway is followed.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • A degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
  • Demonstrated, recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience within the NHS to ensure familiarity with local healthcare settings and protocols.
  • You must be registered with the HCPC to meet professional standards and qualifications.
