What you will do:

• Manage complex cases involving children in need and child protection, using your expertise to assess and mitigate risks effectively.

• Mentor and support students, trainees, and less experienced colleagues, fostering their development and contributing to a knowledgeable team.

• Develop and share specialist knowledge within your area of practice, contributing to the continuous improvement of the service.

• Support the team manager and collaborate with colleagues, leveraging your experience to enhance outcomes for children and families.

• Prepare detailed assessments and reports, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality documentation that informs decision-making processes.

Job Requirements:

• Advanced practitioner, qualified at level three or equivalent.

• Significant post-qualifying experience within a statutory Children's Service setting.

• Proven experience handling high-risk, complex cases.

• Excellent skills in analysis and report writing.

• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
