What you will do:

• Arrange respite breaks to support families and children, ensuring their needs are met with compassionate care.

• Conduct home statutory visits to boost welfare and safeguard children, maintaining a safe environment for their development.

• Carry out initial assessments and identify the unique needs of each child and their family.

• Collaborate with other professionals, such as occupational therapists, to create and review comprehensive care plans.

• Facilitate direct payments and engage in risk assessments to ensure the continued well-being of the children.

• Take part in looked after children reviews and organize core group meetings to ensure cohesive support.

• Address section 47 inquiries with diligence and sensitivity.

• Perform educational needs assessments to tailor learning support to each child.
