Housing Support Business Lead in Slough, Berkshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Support Business Lead in Slough, UK, earning £650 per day (Umbrella). This full-time role, working 37 hours per week from 09:00 to 17:30, involves leading the Housing Applications & Systems team as part of the DDaT Core Management Team. You will oversee a range of applications and technology solutions, playing a key role in planning and overseeing technical developments executed by both internal and vendor-led teams. What you will do:
- Lead as the primary point of contact for internal business and vendor partners.
- Manage and support a portfolio of applications while facilitating the integration across systems.
- Direct a team to support users of the Housing & Public Protection integrated housing management system (NEC) and other relevant systems.
- Maximise the use, development, and data accuracy of NEC, ensuring robust support for users.
- Collaborate closely with business units to deliver technical solutions that align with strategic goals and objectives.
- Advocate recommendations and accountability regarding data and application concerns to senior council managers.
- Exemplify and firmly embed the Council’s values and behaviours across diverse service teams and stakeholders.
- Contribute to building a sustainable, highly effective organisation, enhancing the council’s reputation for delivering exceptional value to residents.
