As a Band 7 Sonographer, you'll independently perform and interpret a variety of ultrasound examinations, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care within the imaging department.

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound scans, such as abdominal, pelvic, small parts, vascular, and MSK, maintaining high standards.

• Generate detailed and accurate diagnostic reports to assist in patient management and treatment plans.

• Prioritise patient safety, dignity, and comfort throughout all examinations.

• Work effectively as part of the imaging team, contributing to superior patient care.

• Ensure all equipment is used effectively and maintained in good working order.

Requirements:

• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential for this role.

• Ability to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures independently.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathise with patients.

• A car driver would be ideal for this role, enabling easy commuting and patient visits as needed.
