Seven Resourcing is on the hunt for a dynamic SEND Specialist Resources Technician to join a forward-thinking team in Halifax. If you are ready for an exciting challenge starting this April in a part-time capacity, this role is perfect for you. With a competitive pay of £110.29 per hour via PAYE, this position will initially run for 8 months, with the possibility of school visits across Calderdale, requiring your expertise for 22 hours over three days a week. The role is based at The Shay Stadium in Halifax, a lively town known for its strong community spirit and rich cultural history.

What you will do:
- Maintain and develop technological systems, software, and resources to ensure access to educational materials for children and young people with SEND.
- Format, reproduce, collate, and prepare Braille and large print educational materials.
- Cultivate professional partnerships across education, health, and care services for resource assessment and procurement.
- Oversee inventory management, including the indexing and booking of loaned resources and equipment.
- Develop informative user-guidance materials, offering demonstrations to optimize resource usage.
- Collaborate with SIT staff on digital and visual presentations.
- Design and distribute publicity materials such as newsletters and brochures.
- Evaluate the efficacy and quality of resources and equipment in collaboration with staff and stakeholders.
About You:
- You hold a Level 3 qualification or above, such as A-levels, L3 NVQ, or Advanced Apprenticeship.
- Possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential for work purposes to facilitate school visits and engagement with stakeholders across Calderdale.
