Job Title: Lead for Dietetics and Nutrition (Band 8a)

Salary: £70,723 – £84,752 per annum (depending on experience)

What You Will Do:

• Provide strategic leadership and clinical direction for dietetic and nutrition services
• Oversee clinical governance, education, and workforce development
• Act as the organisation’s expert advisor on nutrition and dietetics
• Deliver advanced clinical care across specialist areas including ICU, renal, and gastroenterology
• Lead service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Build strong multidisciplinary relationships to enhance patient outcomes
• Support and mentor dietetic staff and students, fostering a culture of learning
• Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure efficient service delivery

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Dietitian
• Extensive experience in clinical dietetics, including specialist areas
• Proven leadership and management experience
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance and service development
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
