What you will do:

• Manage and oversee allegations against professionals, volunteers, and foster carers working with children, ensuring fair and thorough resolutions.

• Provide advice and guidance to employers and organisations on safeguarding allegations and thresholds.

• Convene and chair LADO strategy meetings to coordinate effective multi-agency responses.

• Ensure timely and proportionate investigations by liaising with police, social care, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications / Person Specification:

• Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) or a relevant professional qualification.

• Evidence of continued professional development.

• Registered with Social Work England or the relevant professional body.

• Strong knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children, Children Act 1989 and 2004, and Managing Allegations Against Adults procedures.

• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
