Job Title: Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist – ICU / Critical Care

Location: Chertsey

Salary: Up to £32 per hour (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Locum, Part-Time (0.6 WTE – 3 days per week, minimum 1 month)

What You Will Do:

• Deliver specialist speech and language therapy within ICU and critical care
• Assess and manage patients with complex swallowing and communication difficulties
• Provide tracheostomy care and contribute to multidisciplinary decision-making
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans
• Support and train junior staff and colleagues
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Proven experience in ICU/critical care settings
• Competency in tracheostomy management (essential)
• FEES training (desirable)
• Full driving licence for commuting
