What you will do:

  • Manage a thoughtful and efficient caseload of children and young people who require SEND support, ensuring timely evaluations and EHC needs assessments.
  • Coordinate comprehensive EHC plans by liaising seamlessly with education, health, and social care partners, to gather vital information and deliver holistic insights.
  • Diligently prepare, amend, and maintain EHCP documentation, always aiming for excellence in legal compliance and statutory timelines.
  • Organise and support dynamic EHCP annual reviews, fostering collaborative environments for stakeholders.
  • Act as the key point of contact, providing essential guidance and support to parents, carers, schools, colleges, and associated professionals.
  • Ensure the unique needs, views, and outcomes of children and young people are clearly articulated and reflected in their personalized plans.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records using the council's case management systems, striving for precision and accessibility.
  • Address queries, complaints, and requests from families and professionals with empathy and efficiency.
