You will play a vital role in managing the statutory elements of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment and Annual Review Process. This includes handling associated casework for children with complex additional needs to ensure effective resource use in schools and settings both within and outside the county.
This is an ongoing, full-time locum opportunity offering the flexibility of remote working alongside an attractive daily rate of £280.

What you will do
- Manage the statutory elements of the Education, Health and Care Needs Assessment process, ensuring compliance with legislation and local authority procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee the Annual Review process for children and young people with complex additional needs.
- Manage a caseload of EHCP-related work, ensuring statutory deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Work collaboratively with schools, educational settings, health professionals, parents, carers, and partner agencies.
- Support the effective use of resources across educational provisions both within and outside Cambridgeshire.
- Provide clear communication and advice to families and professionals throughout the assessment and review processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely case recording, documentation, and decision-making.
- Advocate for children and young people, ensuring their views, wishes, and aspirations remain central to all planning and decision-making.
