What You Will Do:

• Assess and provide client-centered Occupational Therapy interventions to help individuals with disabilities achieve maximum functional independence.

• Supervise and support the development of Disability Resource Team staff, including Occupational Therapy Assistants.

• Deliver professional assessments, advice, and training to service users, carers, and professionals regarding core and specialist equipment.

• Evaluate complex cases and recommend housing adaptations to optimize resource use.

• Supply specialist equipment tailored to complex needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Conduct moving and handling assessments, prescribing and demonstrating suitable equipment.

• Expedite hospital discharges to ensure smooth transitions for service users.

• Implement reablement interventions to promote regained functional independence.

• Perform independent mobility assessments for blue badge provision.

Requirements:

• HCPC Registration is essential.

• Car driver essential due to multiple site travel and community visits.
