Employment Type: Full-time, 37 hours per week, ASAP for 6 weeks

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Locum Adult Occupational Health Advisor to join a dynamic team in Nottinghamshire! With a competitive pay rate of £27.40 per hour on an umbrella basis, this role is designed for those ready to jump in and make a difference right away. Working primarily from home with occasional site visits across the county, access to a car and a clean driving licence with business insurance are essential. The role is full-time over a 6-week period, allowing you to bring your expertise into play in a supportive environment based at Byron House (NG17 4NX), though the main work will not require regular attendance at this location.

What you will do:
- Conduct management referrals and demonstrate expertise in writing professional occupational health reports.
- Perform pre-placement triages, medicals, and driver medicals to ensure thorough health assessments.
- Administer hepatitis B vaccinations and venepuncture as needed, ensuring all protocols are followed.
- Handle occupational health referrals with effective triage and respond to enquiries over the phone, utilising communication tools like Teams.
- Support a small, tight-knit team, contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment while reporting to the Senior Occupational Health Advisor.

Skills and experience required:
- At least 3 years of detailed experience in Occupational Health management referral reporting.
- Ideally, experience within a local government or unionised environment will set you apart.
- Current vaccination certification, especially in delivering Hepatitis B, and up-to-date knowledge of any changes within the Green Book.
- Experienced in delivering medical assessments for vocational and professional drivers.
