We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our Bed Rail, Hoist and Moving & Handling Team, offering an attractive hourly rate of £38. What you will do

• Conduct bed rail, stand hoist, and moving & handling reviews to support occupational therapy interventions during annual social care reviews.
• Utilise your core OT skills and professional reasoning to empower individuals towards greater independence and achievement of personal goals.
• Collaborate with people, families, and carers to understand their priorities and integrate community resources for meaningful occupation and wellbeing.
• Perform holistic Occupational Therapy assessments and reviews in accordance with the Care Act 2014, employing functional analysis to remove barriers to independence.
• Oversee specific equipment and moving & handling practices, support reablement, and focus on skill development and confidence.
• Engage in safeguarding enquiries in line with Making Safeguarding Personal principles, managing your caseload and responding to urgent situations as a trusted assessor.
• Maintain clear and professional documentation throughout your practices.
