We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Physiotherapist specialising in Mental Health, to join our team in Sheffield. This locum role offers a generous pay rate of £26 per hour. What you will do:
- Provide specialised physiotherapy assessment and treatment for individuals with complex mental health needs.
- Develop personalised care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patients' physical and mental well-being.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about managing physical symptoms and promoting overall health.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements of the Physiotherapist:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Have recent UK experience in specialised physiotherapy, ideally within a mental health setting.
- Be registered with the HCPC as a physiotherapist and eligible to work in the UK.
- NHS experience is a plus, but not essential.
