Job Title: Band 7 Paediatrics Dietitian Location: Leicester, UK Salary: £31 per hour Contract: 3 months initially, 32 hours a week

Working 32 hours a week, you'll be tasked with crucial roles in areas of paediatric diabetes and paediatric ketogenic diet therapy, both of which are priorities for us as we've recently stood down services in these areas. If you have skills in paediatric inherited metabolic disorders, you'll fit right in too. Your expertise is key, as the skills sometimes overlap.

What you will do:

• Provide expert dietetic advice and management for paediatric patients, particularly in the areas of diabetes and ketogenic diet therapy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored nutritional plans for children with complex needs
• Educate and support families to help them understand and implement diet plans effectively
• Conduct assessments and monitor progress to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and innovations in paediatric dietetics
• Contribute to service development initiatives to continuously improve patient care

To excel in this role, you must have HCPC registration and substantial experience in relevant paediatric specialisms. No driving is necessary, making it convenient if you reside in the city or nearby.
