What you will do:

• Carry out diagnostic imaging investigations in accordance with departmental policy, including working independently where appropriate.
• Conduct specialist examinations within X-ray and Fluoroscopy, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and imaging expertise.
• Participate in service improvement work under the supervision of the Modality Lead.
• Rotate through various areas of the general X-ray department including General Radiography rooms, the Fluoroscopy room, and mobile radiography units.
• Support the performance of approximately 53,000 examinations per year in a dynamic team including consultant radiologists, radiographers, admin staff, and support staff.
• Employ a fully digital PACS system for handling imaging requests and results.
• Produce and evaluate high-quality diagnostic images, utilising post-processing as needed.
• Maintain standards of radiation protection and uphold privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements of the Radiographer:

• Hold a degree or equivalent in Radiography.
• Have recent UK experience as a Radiographer.
• Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
