What you will do:
- Provide a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to users and carers, including assessment, planning, intervention, and review.
- Empower service users to identify their priorities and goals, helping them to create realistic plans for the future.
- Conduct detailed assessments to ensure the protection of service users, identifying risks and needs.
- Maintain a diverse caseload and respond to referrals from a variety of sources.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reviews and relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and present reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain exemplary client records in line with legal and policy standards.
- Collaborate with Social Services, Health Services, and voluntary sectors to deliver needs-led services.
- Provide Aids to Daily Living and recommend funding or grants as needed, reviewing these in line with policies.
- Establish positive working relationships with users, families, and other professionals, fostering effective partnerships.
- Promote independence, equality, and diversity in all interactions.
- Support multi-agency team efforts and contribute to meetings, sharing expertise and advice.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of best practices in Occupational Therapy.
- Familiarise with IT systems for client information management and ADL purchasing.
