What you will do:
- Conduct specialist clinical assessments and provide treatment for children and young people within the paediatric speciality.
- Support and develop colleagues, being the go-to person for advice and expertise in your field.
- Undertake community visits as necessary—hence the need for a driving licence.
- Focus on cases involving complex presentations, supporting other clinicians and less experienced staff in managing these.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- Recent UK experience as an Occupational Therapist, particularly with the NHS.
- HCPC registration.
- Demonstrated experience in paediatrics within a community setting.
