You will work part-time, roughly 21 hours per week over three days, providing essential support within the ABI/Neuro service.

What you will do:
- Work autonomously within a specialist clinical area, bringing your highly developed skills in neurological rehabilitation to manage and prioritise a diverse caseload of service users with complex needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments and tailor treatment plans using evidence-based practices to enhance service user outcomes in self-maintenance, productivity, education, and leisure.
- Develop and oversee care programmes, ensure effective handover, and implement evaluation to modify treatments based on data gathered.
- Conduct detailed risk assessments, regularly updating and communicating findings with the multidisciplinary team.
- Create a strong rapport with service users and their families, using developed interpersonal skills to overcome resistance and distress related to the rehabilitation process.
- Maintain impeccable documentation and produce reports illustrating your specialist knowledge, adhering to professional guidelines.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to establish and achieve therapeutic goals centred on service user preferences.
- Lead, coordinate, and facilitate the rehabilitation programme, ensuring comprehensive family and agency support.
- Assess and refer to external agencies for the correct equipment, ensuring all parties are trained and safe.
