What you will do:
- Provide supervision to Social Workers and Social Care Co-ordinators, ensuring high standards of practice within the team.
- Support students on placement and ASYEs alongside the Safeguarding and Quality Improvement Service.
- Deliver professional advice, guidance, and support to colleagues in line with the Care Act 2014.
- Facilitate group supervision, coaching, and mentoring to encourage continuous learning and development.
- Support colleagues in risk management planning and confidently handle complex situations.
- Ensure high-quality documentation through regular audits and quality assurance checks.
- Collaborate with the Safeguarding Quality Improvement Service to identify and address learning requirements.
- Promote legal literacy within the team, ensuring compliance with key legislation such as The Care Act 2014.
- Undertake joint case responsibility and manage caseloads effectively.
- Chair multi-agency meetings and ensure all colleagues adhere to good record-keeping practices.
- Maintain your own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and become a source of expertise in alignment with service needs.
