What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments covering educational, social, and emotional domains.

  • Identify barriers to learning and development, including special educational needs and mental health concerns.

  • Provide expert advice and recommendations for personalised interventions.

  • Design and deliver interventions targeting emotional wellbeing, behaviour support, and learning development.

  • Collaborate with schools, local authorities, health services, and social care to support educational outcomes.

  • Deliver training and workshops for teachers, support staff, and parents to promote inclusive strategies.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential case records, ensuring compliance with professional standards and guidance.

Purpose of the Role

To provide specialist psychological assessment, advice, and intervention that supports children and young people’s learning, development, and wellbeing. Working in partnership with schools, families, and other professionals, the Educational Psychologist promotes positive educational outcomes, emotional wellbeing, and inclusion for children and young people.
