What you will do

Supervise and facilitate family contact sessions between children and parents/carers in a safe and supportive environment.
Observe and record interactions and behaviours, producing accurate reports for social workers and court proceedings.
Ensure child safety and wellbeing during all contact sessions, intervening where necessary.
Support the development of positive and appropriate relationships between children and family members.

Person Specification

NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards.
Evidence of continued professional development.
Knowledge of relevant frameworks: Children Act 1989 and Safeguarding Children procedures.
Enhanced DBS clearance.
