The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning throughout the school. Working closely with class teachers and wider support staff, you will help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Key responsibilities include:

Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning
Delivering targeted interventions and structured small-group support
Providing individual 1:1 support, including for pupils with additional needs
Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource management
Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion
Contributing to a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will :

Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
Have experience supporting pupils with SEND
Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
Have strong spoken English skills to effectively support pupils, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Be able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Have the right to work in the UK
