Graduate Teaching Pathway

Successful candidates will work within their subject specialism, supporting teaching and learning across the school whilst developing the skills, knowledge and confidence required for a future teaching career.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students in lessons and intervention groups

  • Working closely with experienced teachers and department leaders

  • Helping to raise attainment and student confidence

  • Delivering targeted academic support

  • Developing classroom management skills

  • Assisting with lesson preparation and delivery

  • Gaining exposure to lesson planning and assessment

  • Receiving ongoing mentoring and professional guidance

  • Building valuable experience before progressing into teacher training

  • Supporting students with revision strategies and independent learning

  • Contributing to enrichment activities and wider school life

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for the Graduate Teaching Pathway, applicants must:

  • Hold a degree from a recognised UK university

  • Be a graduate of Oxford, Cambridge or a Russell Group university

  • Have a strong academic background throughout their education

  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrate a genuine interest in education and teaching

  • Be committed to safeguarding and supporting young people

  • Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom

  • Be enthusiastic, professional and eager to learn

  • Demonstrate resilience, adaptability and a positive attitude

Important Information

Applicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.

The school and trust are unable to offer visa sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates requiring Skilled Worker Visa sponsorship or any other form of employment sponsorship will not be considered for these opportunities.
