Graduate Academic Mentor – West London | September 2026 Start

Graduating from a Russell Group or Top UK University this summer?

Want a career-defining role where you can help exceptional students reach the very top while supporting others to unlock their potential?

Looking for meaningful experience before Teacher Training, Educational Psychology, a Master's degree, Medicine, or another professional pathway?

A prestigious secondary school in West London is seeking an outstanding Graduate Academic Mentor to join its student support team from September 2026.

This highly regarded school is renowned for its academic excellence, exceptional pastoral care, and commitment to ensuring every student succeeds—whether they are striving for Oxbridge and Russell Group universities or require additional support to overcome barriers to learning.

As a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will occupy a unique position within the school community, working with both the highest-achieving students and those who need targeted intervention to maximise their academic progress.

No two days are the same.

One morning you could be supporting a Year 13 student preparing an Oxbridge application or competitive university interview. That afternoon, you may be delivering small-group interventions designed to boost confidence and attainment for students who need additional academic guidance.

This is an ideal opportunity for ambitious graduates who are passionate about education, mentoring, and making a lasting difference.

The Role:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group academic interventions
  • Support high-achieving students with extension work and university preparation
  • Work with students requiring additional academic support
  • Assist teachers in identifying strategies to raise attainment
  • Build positive relationships that improve confidence, engagement, and outcomes
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to targeted support plans

What We're Looking For:
