What you will do:

• Chair Child Protection Conferences in accordance with statutory guidance and local safeguarding procedures.
• Lead Looked After Children (LAC) Reviews, ensuring Care Plans remain effective, outcome-focused, and responsive to children's needs.
• Provide independent oversight and robust challenge to social care practice where plans do not adequately safeguard children.
• Monitor compliance with statutory duties under the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004, and Working Together to Safeguard Children.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Evidence of continuing professional development in safeguarding and child protection practice.
• Relevant management or leadership training is desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance.
