What you will do
- Develop and refine HR policies to maintain fairness, compliance, and effectiveness in line with employment legislation.
- Guide managers on complex HR casework relating to conduct, performance, and attendance.
- Contribute to organisational projects that enhance workforce culture and influence HR policy.
- Promote consistent and fair employment practices by collaborating with managers and HR colleagues.
- Design learning resources and deliver training to strengthen people management capabilities.
- Lead Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives by providing insights for Equality Impact Assessments on HR policies.
- Partner with colleague networks to strengthen employee engagement and representation across the workforce.
- Identify EDI-related risks and opportunities, using data and feedback to drive meaningful organisational change.
Requirements
- Substantial HR experience with a strong focus on policy development and complex casework.
- Demonstrable expertise in Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI).
- Ability to present evidence-based recommendations and influence decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and diplomacy.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
