Director of Guest Experience – “Luxury Leisure and Wellness”
Location: North of England
Salary: £150,000 to £180,000 plus benefits
The Opportunity
I am working with a luxury Leisure and wellness destination who are looking for a senior manager with high volume guest focused experience. The brand is all about exceptional standards and gold-standard service. We are looking for a Director of Guest Experience to define and deliver that promise from day one.
The Role
You will lead every guest-facing function, setting the service culture, standards and training that make the guest experience consistently outstanding. You will work across all departments to ensure each guest journey, from first enquiry to departure, is seamless and personal.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the guest journey and service standards across the whole resort
- Build, lead and develop a high-performing, service-led team
- Work with commercial teams to sell the resort to corporate clients, including multi-day group bookings
- Support the launch and growth of the onsite and online retail offer
- Help shape partnerships with leading international hospitality brands
About You
- Senior experience in luxury hotels or resorts, ideally as General Manager or Director Level Management within a recognised 5-star brand
- A proven record of delivering gold-standard service and raising standards across large teams
- Experience of wellness, spa, membership or private-club environments
- Commercial confidence, including selling to corporate clients
- A polished, inspiring leader with an eye for detail
