What you will do:
- Conduct psychological assessments with expertise, using observation, interviews, consultation, and standardised assessment tools to understand and support each child's unique needs.
- Provide psychological advice for Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments, helping young people reach their full potential.
- Create and implement evidence-based interventions tailored for children and young people facing learning, behavioural, emotional, developmental, or neurodevelopmental challenges.
- Offer professional consultation services to parents, carers, teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals, fostering collaboration and understanding.
- Prepare high-quality psychological reports with practical recommendations that make a genuine difference in educational settings.
- Deliver engaging training, informative workshops, and valued supervision to education staff, enhancing school readiness and capability.
- Support and promote inclusive education practices, working with schools to meet the needs of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Contribute to research, service evaluation, and policy development, staying ahead in best practices and innovative approaches.
- Maintain precise records and uphold professional, ethical, and safeguarding standards to ensure the highest quality of care and support.
