What you will do:
- Support the X-Ray and CT services by producing high-quality diagnostic images.
- Maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Complete in-house training and carry out Dacrocystogram procedures.
- Transfer images to and from PACS for second opinions and MDT preparations.
- Undertake CT scanning, fluoroscopy, and general radiography duties.
- Cannulate patients and administer contrast media in line with Trust protocols.
- Assist with workload organisation and image quality assurance activities.
- Support audit, governance, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- HCPC Registration
- Competency in CT, General X-Ray, and Fluoroscopy
- Experience with PACS systems
- IV Cannulation proficiency
- Ability to manage a busy imaging workload independently
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Desirable Requirements:
- NHS Radiography experience
- Proficiency in using RIS and PACS systems
- Experience in administering contrast media
- Previous experience in ophthalmic or specialist imaging services
