Locum Opportunity: Band 8a Psychologist in Uxbridge - Earn up to £35 per hour

We are seeking a dynamic Band 8a Psychologist specialising in Learning Disabilities to join the Hillingdon Community Learning Disability Team in Uxbridge. This ongoing role offers flexibility in a full-time capacity, allowing you to earn up to £35 per hour while making a real difference in the community.

What you will do:

- Deliver specialist psychological assessments and interventions for adults with learning disabilities. You will be involved in specialist assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, and monitoring of outcomes.
- Foster a supportive environment where staff, service users, and carers from diverse backgrounds can thrive, contributing to a psychologically safe space.
- Provide consultation, supervision, and training to multidisciplinary colleagues as a lead specialist in Learning Disability.
- Contribute to service development, research, and audit activities, enhancing service quality.
- Collaborate with families, carers, and partner agencies to deliver person-centred care.
- Support the team in integrating trauma-informed and evidence-based practices.
- Operate independently within BPS and HCPC guidelines and codes of conduct, and navigate organisational policies to meet clinical goals.
- Partner with clinical/professional leads to set and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

- Must be HCPC registered.
- Car driver required to navigate around Uxbridge and provide comprehensive support in various locations.
