Overview:
We are seeking a Band 6/7 Biomedical Scientist to join the Clinical Biochemistry Team in Aylesbury. You will rotate across various laboratory sub-sections, contributing to accurate diagnostic services and supporting high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests on patient samples across four laboratory sub-sections on a rotational basis.

• Deliver accurate and timely results within Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology using state-of-the-art analysers.

• Maintain and manage laboratory equipment including Architect, Tosoh, Osmo 1, Chlorochek, HM-JACK, UVikon and Helena V8.

• Participate in cross-disciplinary work following suitable training.

• Support the out-of-hours rota as required across Stoke Mandeville Hospital and Wycombe Hospital.

• Contribute to personnel management and uphold quality and safety standards within the laboratory.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.

• Strong knowledge of Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology.

• Confidence in personnel management and ability to work effectively within a team.
