What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy interventions in acute surgical, orthopaedic, and trauma wards.
- Plan and execute effective MDT discharge planning.
- Work with a diverse range of patients including amputees, those with acquired brain injury, and frail older adults.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for individuals.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Must be HCPC registered.
- A valid driving licence is required to facilitate ease of travel around the island.
- Experience in acute surgical, orthopaedic, or trauma wards is crucial, and familiarity with amputee care, acquired brain injury, or frailty in older patients is advantageous.
