This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Band 5 Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join a busy and supportive service in Boston on an ongoing locum basis. You will play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective medicines management across healthcare settings.

What you will do

• Deliver medicines management services, ensuring safe and accurate supply and administration of medications.
• Work closely with pharmacists and wider healthcare professionals to support pharmaceutical care plans.
• Conduct medicine reconciliation and medication reviews to optimise patient outcomes.
• Provide advice to clinical staff and patients regarding prescribed medicines, adherence, and safety.
• Support and guide junior staff to promote high standards of pharmacy practice.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to ensure continuity of supply.
• Engage with patients to provide clear information and support regarding their medication use.

Requirements

• HCPC‑registered Pharmacy Technician.
• Minimum 2 years’ NHS experience in Medicines Management.
• Strong knowledge of medicines optimisation, reconciliation, and safety processes.
• Ability to work across multiple sites as required.
• Car driver desirable to support travel between locations.
