Exciting Opportunity for a Best Interest Assessor - Social Worker Role in Telford, UK! Are you ready to dive into a rewarding locum position? We are seeking a skilled Best Interest Assessor with strong social work expertise to join us for an engaging 4-week project commencing in October 2025. Full-time commitment required, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Earn up to a fantastic £42.44 per hour! With the convenience of a hybrid structure, your base will be Telford or nearby areas. A driving licence and access to a car are essential, as you'll be visiting clients to transition 77 individuals from Appointee to Deputyship, prioritizing the first 34 clients within the first two weeks of October.

What you will do:

• Conduct assessments to determine the best interests of clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are thoroughly considered and documented.
• Collaborate with other professionals to compile comprehensive COP3 forms for individuals transitioning from Appointee to Deputyship.
• Prioritise and manage your caseload efficiently to meet project goals within the designated timeframe.
• Employ your expertise in mental capacity assessment, building on existing information and conducting thorough client evaluations.
• Engage with clients face-to-face, ensuring their wellbeing and interests are at the forefront of your assessments.
