We have a fantastic opportunity for an adventurous and flexible Social Worker to join the Adults Team in Salford. This locum position offers an attractive hourly rate of £30 and requires your expertise to meet immediate service demands. The initial contract is ongoing and you'll be working within the Eccles & Irlam Neighbourhood Team. The role is primarily focused on short-term assessments and reviews, with a potential for some safeguarding work. This is a full-time position with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring three days each week in the office or community-based.

What you will do:

- Conduct short-term assessments and reviews for adults within the community.
- Work independently to support individuals using a strengths-based approach.
- Apply your excellent knowledge of The Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2015 to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic, person-centred support for service users.
- Document and report on your findings and interventions to the team and stakeholders.
- Occasionally engage in safeguarding work when necessary, ensuring the protection and welfare of vulnerable adults.
