What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse population within the prison, ensuring standards are met consistently.
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first-class physical and mental health care within the prison setting.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records to ensure continuity of care.
- Play a pivotal role in managing and administering medication in line with relevant protocols and guidelines.

Requirements of the Prison Nurse:
- Must have current registration with the NMC, demonstrating professionalism and dedication to nursing.
- Essential to have prison clearance and relevant previous experience in this unique environment.
- A strong understanding of nursing care and interventions appropriate to a prison setting.
