What you will do:
- Assess and treat children and adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders within the community.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans, ensuring that all interventions are patient-centered and goal oriented.
- Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, carers, and families to deliver comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring the continuity of care and compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to facilitate recovery and maximise independence.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and current HCPC registration.
- Recent UK/NHS post-qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
