What you will do:
- Conduct Children and Families assessments and provide thorough analysis to inform decision-making
- Chair Core Groups and Child in Need meetings, ensuring all attendees are briefed and engaged
- Write comprehensive reports and plans for children in our care, tailoring them to individual needs
- Attend Pre-proceedings and Legal Order meetings, providing robust evidence and reports for court settings
- Engage with children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings, and Court requirements
- Undertake other social work-related tasks as identified by your manager
Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work
- Current Social Work England registration
- Significant frontline experience in UK Social Services as a qualified Social Worker
