What you will do:
- Work closely with families and professionals to comprehend the support required to safely and effectively parent.
- Identify and source appropriate support to promote the progression of Child in Need and Child Protection Plans.
- Practice relationship-based social work to ensure meaningful and professional encounters with children and families.
- Conduct thorough assessments, develop and implement Child Protection Plans, and present findings in court where necessary.
- Exhibit sound knowledge of children's legislation and thresholds while performing well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Our Safeguarding Teams are on the hunt for a highly skilled Locum Social Worker who thrives in relationship-based practice. The ideal candidate will be dynamic and flexible, equipped with superior inter-personal and excellent recording skills. Your ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment will be crucial, along with a solid understanding of child protection legislation. We are seeking individuals with direct experience in a Child Protection team, including court work from the last 18 months. We value staying power and look for continuity in employment history, ensuring consistent case management with our locums.
