What you will do:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of social workers to ensure effective service delivery for children and families.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies, ensuring coordinated multi-agency work.
- Oversee and ensure quality of all documentation and reports related to child protection cases.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance, implementing improvements to ensure service excellence.
- Provide regular supervision and guidance to staff, developing their skills and competencies in line with best practices.
Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Demonstrable experience in managerial roles such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
- Extensive frontline experience in Children’s Services working as a Team Manager.
