What you will do:
- Allocate assessments to independent social workers and ensure their quality assurance.
- Oversee a post-order support worker, providing guidance and supervision.
- Organise and manage allocation, initial, and midway meetings effectively.
- Track the progress of assessments, ensuring essential checks are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain excellent record-keeping and monitoring throughout the process.
- Offer consultation and support to other teams regarding the Special Guardianship process.
Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant frontline experience as a qualified social worker in the UK social services sector, with a deep understanding of Special Guardianship and associated processes.
