What you will do:
- Lead the assessment and delivery of Out of Court Disposals within the service, including triage, Community Resolution, Youth Cautions, and during busy periods, Youth Conditional Cautions.
- Deliver high-quality Prevention and Diversion Assessments, attending key meetings such as Moving Forward planning and the Out of Court Disposal panel.
- Undertake holistic assessments of children referred for Out of Court Disposals using the Prevention and Diversion Assessment Tool (PDAT).
- Create and implement evidence-based interventions that are child-centred, trauma-informed, and focused on positive outcomes.
- Foster collaboration with statutory and voluntary partners to ensure comprehensive support for the children.
- Maintain accurate and reflective case records to aid in inspection readiness and continuous service improvement.
- Participate in Youth Justice Service (YJS) duties as part of a rota system, adapting to various needs within the service.
