What You Will Do:

• Triage incoming safeguarding referrals to assess suitability for enquiry.

• Determine appropriate actions to mitigate risk and enhance client safety.

• Formulate effective protection plans centred on the needs and voices of service users.

• Collaborate with families, carers, and external agencies to deliver quality outcomes.

• Address complex cases and crises, such as self-neglect and domestic abuse.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical safeguarding standards.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with at least 2 years’ post-qualification experience in safeguarding.

• Proficient in completing S42 safeguarding work.

• Proven track record of developing comprehensive protection plans reflecting service user input.

• Ability to handle complex scenarios and crisis situations with expertise and professionalism.
