Social Worker - Disabled Children Team in Exeter, with a focus on making a difference for disabled children, is a thrilling opportunity you cannot miss. We are seeking an experienced Social Worker in North Devon to join our dedicated team for a temporary role of 3 months, offering £38 hourly on a full-time basis. The position requires remote working with office attendance on duty days, which are scheduled one to two times a week and can be adjusted in the interview. What you will do:

  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for disabled children and liaison with families.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Monitor and review cases to ensure the welfare and safety of the children in care.
  • Participate in duty days at the office to manage emergent cases and provide backup to colleagues.
  • Manage documentation and maintain accurate records in line with organisational requirements.
