Band 6 Occupational Therapist Locum Role with the Emergency Department Team in Leicester UK earning £26 hourly. This is an exciting opportunity with an ASAP start and ongoing duration. What you will do:
- Assess and treat a diverse range of patients including those with frailty, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care within the emergency department.
- Support rapid assessment and timely discharges, ensuring patients receive the care they need efficiently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records to inform treatment plans.
- Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.
Requirements:
- HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in an acute hospital setting and within an emergency department.
- Experience with the assessment and treatment of various patients including those with frailty, musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions.
- Car driver preferred, but not essential – flexibility in transport can help broaden your reach across community care.
