We are seeking a talented and experienced Consultant Social Worker to join our Children in Care service in Durham. What you will do:

- Manage a reduced caseload of children in care, providing high-quality support and guidance.
- Assist and support the Team Manager in various tasks to ensure effective management of the team.
- Provide support to colleagues in handling complex situations, offering your expertise and guidance.
- Chair stability meetings and low-level strategy meetings to ensure that the needs of children in care are met.
- Lead and contribute to efforts aimed at improving team performance and outcomes for children.
- Be based in the office in Seaham, Durham 1-2 days per week, with the remainder of the role being flexible and adaptable to your needs.
