What you will do:

  • Manage complex cases involving long-term and chronic conditions autonomously.
  • Conduct manual handling assessments and create associated plans to ensure clients’ needs are effectively met.
  • Perform postural assessments and prescribe specialist seating and wheelchair solutions.
  • Provide expert recommendations and plan urgent minor and complex major adaptations, including stair lifts and hoist systems.
  • Supervise and support junior Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants.
  • Maintain excellent clinical recording and organisational skills.
  • Travel across Ceredigion to carry out home assessments, requiring the use of a car.


Required essentials include HCPC registration and a valid driver’s licence. This role entails travelling across the picturesque county of Ceredigion, allowing you to work and explore this charming region.
