Your Responsibilities

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech or emotional challenges

  • Work alongside class teachers to tailor learning activities and resources to suit individual student needs

  • Encourage students to build confidence, independence, and communication skills

  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a calm, inclusive learning environment

  • Track and report student progress to the SENCo and wider teaching team

What We’re Looking For

  • A recent graduate (Class of 2025) with a minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN in any setting (schools, care, volunteering, etc.)

  • A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach

  • A genuine interest in pursuing a long-term career in education, therapy, or child development
